Well, what can I say?

Firstly, thanks for stumbling upon this page! I know it’s not much to offer right now, but I hope to change that over the next few weeks, months, etc.

Ideally, I’ll offer up hints, tips, tricks, and recipes I’ve spent the last couple of months trolling around the internet for. I’m no professional cake baker, designer, decorator, what have you! I’m simply a college student with way too much free time who spends it happily baking away and celebrating friends’ birthdays and special events with cakes that some may say are a bit too lavish.

Well, when your friends yell with delight because they’ve discovered that what they thought was just a decoration is actually a rice krispie treat plane…it’s totally worth it.

I’ve also made plenty of mistakes on this self-educated foray into the world of baking, all of which I’m happy to share with others in order to prevent them from doing the same! Better one of us makes it and lets the rest know rather than allowing people to blindly stumble into dangerous territory.

All I can say is that I appreciate you stopping in to indulge me in my ramblings and humoring my belief that these recipes and tricks are things you can’t find elsewhere. I really do appreciate it and I hope you even learn something.
